Rajinikanth has agreed to do the new film of the director Shankar - Robot. The budget of the film is Rs.120 Crores. It is believed that the screen play will be a comedy with super action scenes. Infact, Rajinikanth had given an hint about this tamil film long back in 2002 itself when he attended the Boys film function.

Rajinikanth may act in some other movie and the film may be released even before Robot. Shankar had plans to have Sharukkhan, Salmankhan, Ajith, Arjun but finally decided with Rajinikanth.

The Robot films will include lot of technical shots. Using technology is not new to Shankar. He is one of the best directors in the recent times who can attract film fans to the theaters with all his super techniques. After the mega hit of the film Sivajitheboss, the expectation of the tamil film fans have gone up and all are looking forward for another box office hit. Shankar has done lot of home work by consulting some scientists and experts for the story of Robot. The theme may be based on some science fiction. Both physical settings and computer graphics will conquer the mind of the film lovers.

Rajinikanth is one of the best actors in the world who can attract children. The robot story is likely to have lot of scenes for kids where the robot is expected to make them laugh which will be belly shaking.

A.R.Rahman who is referred as Isaipuyal in tamil will be scoring the music. So music lovers get ready for another great hit sequence by ARR.
